Pronunciation Performance

Thoroughly loved every aspect. True to characters and dynamics of story. Acting and production and pronouncements were spot on and added greatly to my enjoyment. Thank you!

A Tale of Rabbits

A continuation of events and stories from the first book. It brings everything full circle

i listened to this right after listening to the plague dogs and watership down,

continuing from my title i adored both of those books and voice overs,
with this one though everything was okay voice wise but i hated the voices used for hazel and bigwig sadly.
and as for the story i feel hazel and bigwig are really out of character especially big wig.
there’s a point in the story that implies a rabbit was sexually assaulted. like, this idea was written very care in the first book but in this… not so much .
i’m just a bit disappointed.

great narrator, good story

if you haven't read Water ship Down, then dont try this one-it relies on your knowledge from the first work. this was much lighter work but still entertaining!

Not long enough and No purpose for an end

Wanted more, so i enjoyed it, however it is like getting half of a story, as if the author was trying to give those who like the stories within what they want, and also giving the fans an inside look at Watership Down (after the fact), which we do want both, but it leaves listener too distant this way - must be inc, into the story as first book did . Nonetheless, feels like im left hanging a bit, and there was no real angle to the story - like i was waiting to see the Big climax and it didnt happen. Too many things left unsaid here. But will always love the tales & the rabbits of watership down. I missed a few characters though definitely & really wish the narrator from the first book would have done this one too! With the bit of english or other accent!

Dandelion tails

While I have read the original book many times, I found myself struggling to make it through this book. No oppertunity was ptovided to connect emotionally with Hazel and company, since it consists of stories about other rabbits. The narrator, who was perfect for the Dune series lacked the dynamic range of voices, the dracula voice , as I think of it , gets tired after multiple tales by Dandelion.
