Great listen

This is book three in the series and was a great addition. The storyline was unique and interesting, the characters are fun and exciting. Jones was a great character all alpha outdoors guy and Charlie is a author so cute and fun. They belong together and I was happy that they got there HEA. The narrator did a great job making the characters interesting.

Charlie and Jones

Taking The Heat is Book 3 in the Knitting Club series. I love this book and listening to it was even better. I just love Charlie and Jones together. I'm glad they found their way to each other. Charlie, an omega and 10 years younger than Jones, has had a crush on Jones, an alpha and one of his older brother's best friends, for years. When Charlie asks Jones to take him camping, to help him with a book he's writing, Jones of course says yes. When Charlie goes into an early heat, that could be life threatening for him, Jones decides he needs to step up and take care of Charlie by bonding with him like they both want. I love how protective Jones is of Charlie, even back when Charlie was a teenager. I love this series and definitely recommend it.
Narrator Price Johnson does a marvelous job.

Extreme heat calls for extreme measures!

I really enjoyed Charlie and Jones sweet hot story! Jones protectiveness and Charlie’s insecurity’s along with this emotional storyline made ‘Taking The Heat’ a pleasure to listen to! Narrator Price Johnson did a fantastic job with the voices and theatrics actually bringing Austin Bates characters and alpha omega story to life! I absolutely loved it!

Loved Charlie and Jones

I was excited to listen to Charlie and Jones story!! Jones, an alpha is an outdoors man and Charlie is an Omega. Charlie is an author and needs help with his story he’s writing so he asks Jones, his brothers’ best friend to take his camping. Charlie goes into heat and Jones decides to help him. The narrator took me a bit to get used to him. Overall I loved the story!!

Always love Austin’s books. This is another good one. Highly recommend if you love omegaverse books.

Ooooo, heat sex!

I enjoyed this story! I like Charlie's openness towards life, and I especially like how both Jones and Charlie man up and talk about their feelings. I don't get the whole upset about JP, probably because the 'big brother has a right to know about our relationship' wouldn't fly in most families in Norway. And how JP doesn't see that his insisting on poking his nose in Charlie's business inevitably leads to Charlie and his boyfriend keeping secrets is beyond me. But hey, it's a culture thing, I guess.
I don't think I have heard Price Johnson before, (is Price really a name?) but I like him. He's too much of a natural bass to easily depict tenor voices, but he still clearly differentiates the characters. Good flow, and good emotional range. Recommend!

Jones and Charlie

4.5 stars. I've been looking forward to reading Jones and Charlie's story. These two are a bit of a mess. They've been dancing around one another for years. Their relationship never got off the ground because of misunderstandings, assumptions, and preconceptions. Being together alone allows some things to work out but both of them had to learn to really talk to each other. I liked that Charlie's brother lends a helping hand to get them to really lay it all out so that the HEA they want is real.

Audiobook: very enjoyable narrator

Very sweet, knotting heat

JP and Charlie's story is somewhat a slow burn romance. They've been friends for years and hooked up more than once, and they both think the other doesn't want anything more. Their story has a few flashbacks to give context to their relationship. Having read this a part of the series, I will say I was a little disappointed the knitting club didn't have a bigger storyline.

Good Listen

I enjoyed the listen and was happy that these two characters got a happy ending. This was only the second book done by this narrator that I've listen too and I have no issues. I think he does a good job

Charlie & Jones

A wonderful addition to this great series. I’m so glad that Charlie and Jones finally get their HEA. It was great to see how protective and caring Jones is of Charlie the entire time that they are in the wilderness together. Charlie really deserves to get his happy ending and the man that he loves and I was so happy to see that his brother was not only an ally but a big supporter when he finally learned the truth of his best friend and his little brother.The narrator really did a wonderful job portraying all of the characters and interpreting the story. I voluntarily reviewed a gifted copy of this audiobook.
