About this listen

Vengeance was something I'd been waiting all my life to deliver. It would be sweet and worth every risk I'd taken to get to this point.

I was moments away from pulling the trigger, taking the life of the man who'd cost my father his....

And then she was dragged into the room, struggling and fighting for freedom.

The moment I set eyes on Tavia, everything changed. Those darker than espresso eyes were full of fear, her mouth so ripe that had once begged me to devour it trembling in fright. She looked up at me through a curtain of thick, long lashes and gasped.

"Theo," she whispered, her voice cracking as those eyes I'd fallen hard for filled with tears. "Help me."

It was then I realized my Tavia was also his. My enemy's daughter.

Contains mature themes.

Theo and Tavia

An overwhelmingly intense and suspenseful ride to go on with Theo and Tavia. So much push and pull between these two, my head was spinning and at times I was a little frustrated with both of them. That being said, I did enjoy this story.

Yay for more Angel’s Halo books!

This story was full of love and family with some drama and angst. The HEA was sweet. I highly recommend all of Terri Anne Browning books!!

These narrators were both new to me. Overall I think both did a good job. I appreciated the attempt to give accents to the supporting characters. However, the female narrator picked the wrong accents. Enjoyable narration otherwise.

Disappointing

On several levels, first lets go with the story compared to the original books this is just a surface story with little depth. I wish we had more. Now the narration doesn't do this any favors either. The female sounds high and monotone and the way they portray the parents is all wrong. The male was better but not by much.
