Every day we hear terrifying stories of prolonged droughts, heat waves, torrential floods, deepfreezes & hurricanes on the news. Every new year these weather phenomena become more extreme & unpredictable, it appears that mother nature grows angrier every new coming day. What more evidence do people need to fully believe that the climate is not just changing but has already changed for the worse. Hurricanes, tornadoes & typhoons are showing up in places they have never been before, & happening more frequently, they unleash the full wrath of mother nature onto the inhabitants of the coasts leaving behind nothing but a pile of rubble on what were once magnificent coastal cities. The seas are rising faster & swallowing small islands in the oceans. The seas are filled with trillions of tons of plastic waste that is choking marine life, the soils covered with toxins. A huge chunk of hazardous industrial waste flows into the rivers, lakes, streams & springs, & all freshwater bodies.

Extremely wild bushfires raging for days on, cities are covered with smog due to emissions from factory chimneys, species dying at an alarming rate, even little children know that if man continues with his modern lifestyle there will be nothing left on the planet to enjoy. The money they are chasing will become worthless because it won't buy them fresh air, clean water, fertile soils & fresh marine food. Planet Doom is already here, what more evidence do you need? It's too late to do anything now, mother nature has already started unleashing her fury upon humanity.

Never in history has our planet faced environmental challenges of such a grave magnitude. Everywhere we turn, we see death & destruction. Experts continue to warn us that if humanity continues with their current uncontrollable behavior, planet earth will no longer be habitable in the coming few decades, it is ironic that humans are striving very hard to create technology that will take them to mars while they can’t find technology to help us solve our planets' problems. We should try very hard to solve the problems we already have on our planet earth instead of wasting resources trying to reach a far distant planet that is completely uninhabitable. The very fact that our planet earth is the only habitable celestial body in the whole universe speaks volumes for itself, it reminds us that we should strive to conserve & protect the little we already have instead of traveling into space to look for life elsewhere in places it can never exist at all. We need to start by reducing greenhouse gas emissions & other forms of pollution.

A young couple turns their backyard into a dumpsite, they dig a hole in their compound upon which they dump both organic & inorganic waste, "we are many kilometers away from the city so we don’t have to pay for expensive truck lifting," they say unto one another, they come here on a weekly basis to perform their routine dumping, then proceeded to set the litter on fire, with time the dumpsite grew larger, bigger than the size of their house, the rains that fell heavily on it made the garbage wet & became a breeding ground for all kinds of worms, stench from the decay of organic matter was also very strong, the winds blew it in from the back, staying in the house was unbearable, then came a time & season when the blue & green flies went to visit the family's dining room, they found them enjoying a warm meal of pork & oats. they demanded their share of the food, they made sure they had fully dipped their three pairs of legs into the soup & rolled their bodies onto the crumbs, soon the family becomes ill from an unknown disease, one child's situation was so critical that he had to be hospitalized. When a pediatrician visited their home to assess the situation, at the very first glance of the compound, he knew what was amiss, he then turned to the owners and said this to them, "you have got to sweep thy planet."
