Forced equality can never withstand the test of time. Wherever there is freedom, inequality will occure.

Also, Every nation is entitled to predominance on its own land. This is a good lesson for all immigrants but also for all invaders.

Buchannen painted, and justified, a less than optimistic prediction of america's future based on what has happened in other, similiar countries in the past.

Buchannens voice is too harsh to listen to for long periods of time. They should have a girl do the readings.

This was a terrific abridged version of Buchanan's original work that hits on almost every point that he writes about, with the exception of the anti-religious bent that he describes in the text. I've listened to it twice and both times felt extremely depressed about the future of America, which obviously was Buchanan's intention. Great narration by the author.

A manifesto of common sense.

11 years after it was published it seems fresher than the day it was released. Still relative to the current situation, is a sad reminder of what have we failed to implement for the sake of not only America but for the western world in total as well. Since his message is urgent and has to do with our survival, he wastes no pages to please the reader. He fills the entire work of his with authoritatively opinions and conclusions and offers a wealth of information to the reader, plainly and clearly.
Buchanan's narration has a sweet grandfatherly quality and transcending sadnes, for the message is dead serious. A must read, or hear.

More Americans need to listen to what Pat wrote!

I think history is proving Pat’s theories out right in spades, even though he has been nothing but castigated for his views!
