The suspense
This story was my welcome to K.R. Hall's world and I really enjoyed it. Stories about Strigoi are new to me, so she opened a new world to me, adding in a lot of action and suspense, and some spice!
If you are an avid audiobook listener, then in this audiobook, you will find another form of narration. Firstly, the story is mainly told from the POV of the MMC, and the narration itself is like having someone read to you, and regardless of the POV, the intonation only differs slightly. This was challenging to me in the beginning as it's the first time I hear this form of narration, but once I got used to it, I was able to enjoy the story more.
Hope you enjoy it as I did and I look forward to more from K.R. Hall!

Loved this!
This was a first for me by this author. It was amazing! Victor and Alana have a lot of obstacles standing in their way of a future together. Will Victor be able to keep her safe when danger comes? Or will he lose everything? You will be hooked from the beginning. I definitely recommend this book and author.
Mickey Gousset’s narration brought the characters to life.
