In other words, it’s our stories that give our relationships a chance.Foth especially loves childhood stories, “because when I tell a story from my childhood, it reveals who I am. Listening to people's stories is what helps us know them and that is exactly what Dick Foth has done with his life. We see that so well through these stories he tells. His love for people and for story is evident in this 2 hour audiobook. He is funny, inspiring and has the ability to make you feel like you're just sitting in his living room hanging out. I have had the privilege of hearing many of these stories before but I would listen to them over and over (and probably will). Foth's example to love people well is one I will always aspire too!

Inspiring, funny, emotional

Dick Foth is perhaps my favorite speaker of all time. As intelligent and accomplished as he is, there is a rich humility and folksy charm he possesses that is genuine and rare. Listening to him took me back decades when I was blessed to regularly hear him speak. He makes the dying art of storytelling seem so easy, but also demonstrates the significance of storytelling. One need not be as gifted as he is, but we all need to learn to ask good questions and listen to others in order to develop relationships, to learn, and to grow. I see the tenderness of God when I listen to these stories.
