I am unsure how I feel right now, happy because I LOVEDDDDD this book and the entire series, sad because Claudia’s story is over. This 3 book series was amazing and I highly recommend for fans of serial killer thrillers, crime thriller, and easy to love main characters! Despite the book subject, you will find yourself emotionally drawn to the characters throughout this series.

J.R. Mason’s writing style is astounding & I have been highly impressed with everything that I’ve read by this author. I listened to all 3 books on audio, and that was an experience in itself. Even for those that do not typically choose audiobooks as their method of reading, I recommend listening to these, as the sound effects takes the listening experience to a completely different level.

An overall excellent read (book and series) with a satisfying conclusion!

Stolen Pieces lll Hidden Darkness was masterfully performed. This series keeps get better from the first book to the last. I highly recommend this book, but you have to read or listen to the first two before reading this masterpiece. It surpassed 5 stars.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

It's so haard, to say goodbyyyyyye, to yesterdayyy

Completing this series feels bittersweet. It's one of the best thriller series I've read in a very long time it was such a rollercoaster! This third book (and final) entry to the series is definitely DARKER and the darkest of the three. The title lets you know what to expect and the story doesn't let up with that promise. These characters, whew! The opening scene picks up from the previous book and it comes in HOT. I read the paperback and then jumped into the audiobook experience because that's what it is - an experience. A breathless crime thriller with enough suspense and intensity and psychological warfare between the characters that you won't know which way to point. I can't recommend this highly enough if you love dark thrillers and suspenseful storylines, and you just have to get the audiobook for the full immersion! Definitely a masterclass in between these pages!

Thrilling, exciting adventurous lots of plot twist

It’s one of those audiobooks that you know what’s coming, but you still enjoy every bit of the plot twist. The production of the audiobook was so well done the writing was well thought out! All of the Pittsburgh natives will absolutely eat this up. Mystery thrilling spice highly recommend for anybody that loves those types of things The ending. I’m so glad it ended the way it did.

Well written pulse pounding thriller

This audiobook kept me on the edge of my seat. The narration drew me in as if I were in the book watching the madness unfold. The characters were well written, and the drama unfolded at a great pace leaving me wondering what would happen next.

My jaw was on the floor every chapter

J.R. Mason knows how to write a thriller! All these twists and turns and the depravity kept me on the edge of my seat from the very first chapter

This series was so good, with every book leveling up the unhinged actions of our characters. I swear my eyes were bugging out of my head after every reveal.

I highly recommend it—especially the audiobook. Narrated by the author herself, it’s like watching a movie or your favorite crime procedural. The sound effects, background music, and full-cast performances all done by her are award worthy for sure!

The Best Book Series

I wanted to wait until i completed all 3 of the books in the series. You must start with Stolen Pieces 1 first and read the rest in order. This book series did not disappoint me at all. The author/narrator was very engaging, I knew who each character was, so many twists and turns to the story had me wanting more, i could not wait to see what was going to happen next. The build up with the sound effects was like.. Oh! what is about to happen now, i am talking to the main character like she can hear me. Can’t wait for the next book to come out. WELL DONE!! I recommend this murder/suspenseful series.

Mason Strikes Gold… AGAIN!

I read several books in the past month. What can I say, I love a good thriller. None of them have kept my attention and on the edge of my seat like the Stolen Pieces series. Well thought out, scripted, written and performed. By the middle of book one you feel like you’re a part of the force working the case. The characters are real and relatable. J.R. did her research to make everything feel authentic. She needs to keep the books rolling. And the amount of sex had in this series you can tell she’s still sexual frustrated. Hint, if you haven’t already, check out Mason's hilarious written series Confessions that tackles her horrific dating experiences.
