Great Story!

I love that the H/h are not 20 somethings . We need more mature leads in these romances. and I think I have fallen in love with Michael Pauley's voice. Great story.

Bitter sweet story. Similiar 2 a older bwwm couple

This was a sweet/sad story of love that didn't die. The racial differences was barely mentioned.. I found myself cheering for both of them and wanted to smack both of the.. Another wonderful diverse story from Delaney Diamond.. Worth the credit. More stories ike this please..

As always a great story, great voice actor. please drop the music that plays as the book goes to next chapter. think it takes away from some of the serious moments in book.

I loved the story...i was not a fan of the male voice for the women but he did a good job overall...loved the book

An engaging story of forgiveness and trust.

I had so much "kilig" on the scenes. Another Delaney's best! I love the story. Well-written and the narrator did a good job too. A must read!

Loved the ambience !

The narration was excellent and I thought that the bits of Latin music added to the overall 'flavor' of the story. The characters were believable and the pace was perfect. Very entertaining and well told story!

This is a first

I received this audiobook in exchange for an honest review. I've loved every other book I've read by Ms.Diamond. She has an amazing talent for creating beautiful stories out of messy, realistic and unusual situations. I held such hope for this one. I loved Cortez , his love for Nadine and the premise of the story. However, I really found Nadine irritating, immature and selfish. I couldn't figure out why Cortez was in love with her. Additionally, I did not care for the narrator's voices for Nadine or Cortez and the music between each chapter really brought me out of the story, which distrubed the overall experience. Nonetheless, I will continue to be a fan of Ms. Diamond.

Meh...

Unlike the Unexpected series it took me over 4times starting the book from the beginning. It didn't catch my attention. Lastly the music before each chapter was horrible! I love the narrator.
