Can’t he find someplace else to pillage? Shannon is going to need all the magic that the little wishing well showers on her and then some.

Witching Well, book one of the Hex After Forty series, is a story of a woman thrown into the deep end who surfaces, claiming her power. Midlife, divorce, and trying to stay sane to be a good mother.

Loved it!

It is just as good as the first book in the series! Can't wait for the next one to come out!

Spellbound

this book just keeps getting better. I think this one was the funniest, I really can't wait for the next book to come out. the narrator did a good job too.

Funny and an easy Listen

I enjoyed this one also, and it looks like a third book is coming.

I had more difficulty trying to figure out which of the three girls were speaking. Female voices sounded alike. ☹️ Didn’t have the problem on the first book.

Will go on to 3rd book when it comes available.

Can’t get enough of Shannon, Libby and MJ :)

Just like the first book, I binged my way through Spellbound in one day. The three friends Shannon, Libby and MJ gradually improve their magic - but they are still new to it, so they inevitably land themselves in a hot mess. That creates various hilarious situations, especially for MJ and Shannon, while Libby starts to feel like always playing second fiddle when she’s got amazing news to share.

Spellbound alternates between Shannon’s, Libby’s and MJ’s point of view, adding more layers to each character and what they’re going through.

The writing is funny and fast paced, and Jennifer Pickens does a stellar job narrating. Highly recommended :)

Amazing book

I really enjoyed this book and the narrator. Amazing and exciting story and I definitely recommend this book

I like the stories

… But I really dislike the main character. Sorry. But I like the bobcat and the two friends. I will continue the series to see what happens.

Enjoyable

This is the second installment on this series. The three main characters are bumbling through midlife and learning the craft. Spells are going haywire and it’s giggle inducing. This one doesn’t focus so much in there midlife as their mishaps. Love is in the air but will it pan out? The narrator does a good job. I would like ore distinctions on the characters voices but over all she does well and is an enjoyable listen on my walks through the trails this week!

Must read!!

Loved the creative way this story evolved. Really enjoyed seeing the journey the 3 gals take throughout this novel. Great second installment.

Loved it!! Fabulous!!

I really enjoyed this second book in the Hex after 40 series. Just like with the first book the narrator brought it to life. The flow was perfect. I was hooked from the start.
Shannon, MJ, and Libby were in for quite a ride. Cynthia really bursts into this one. She has a lot more experience with her magic. All the women really start to find their way. Shannon’s relationships with Steve, Devon, and Robert really change. Libby finds out her special abilities. There might just be a special person she finally opens herself up to 😉. MJ did not learn anything from Shannon’s mistakes in the first book. I can’t wait to see what happens in the next book in this series by Shelley Dorey.

Double the Magic, Double the Problems

Shannon, MJ, and Libby's magic has intensified but so has their problems and to top it all off the bobcat is still hanging around. Messed up magic and spells has this trio causing problems all over town not to mention another witch who maybe a friend or enemy watching their every move. I really enjoyed this quirky story but the ending just didn't sit well with me because it was left so open. This is my honest unbiased review that I am voluntarily leaving of my own volition. I received this book for free at my own request. I highly recommend book 1 and 2.
