If you like the whole older supposedly straight man who falls for the supposedly straight jocky teen then this is it. There were very many scenes where I was like OMG but, I'm not gonna lie. It took a me a little while to not cringe between the father and his son. It just didn't seem right and made me question if laws had not been broken with this father. I think that could've been left out. Overall it was pretty good for the book having been free.

Not a big fan of having robots taking the jobs of artist, but have to admit the technology on this Virtual Voice thing is getting pretty good.

The story itself, nonstop action. The MC’s are not too likeable at first, but rapidly grow on you as they bring out the best in each other.

I looked the story but the AI detracts from it somewhat

Overall, the story is very hot and definitely engaging, however, the AI narrator detracted from the story when there were onomatopoeias that don’t appear in the dictionary. For example, to illustrate a sound of someone who is gagged, you might write “mmmmmppppphhhhhhhhffff” but AI will sound out each individual letter. It’s weird to me. That said, I still enjoyed the audiobook and I enjoyed the character development, and I found the two main characters to be interesting and sympathetic. In the end, I was definitely rooting for them to be together. I will listen again.

AI reading annoying

Am I the only one who laughed every time the guy referenced the size of his manhood and feet? I mean come on...

aside from that, the story was fine. I really don't like the AI Reading. it's really distracting.

This book needs a human reader

The awkwardness of artificial reading is so distracting that it was impossible to enjoy the story.
