Excellent story but

The woman who read Iris I enjoyed. She was wonderful in all the voices. The man who narrated Gage, not so much. Breathy, too soft and stilted.
The story was riveting! Marie never disappoints.

Ok I really liked the story. I did not like the voices used in the audio recordings. They didn’t sound natural speaking.

This was a good story told beautifully by Marie Force and the narrators did very good job. I can’t wait for the next book.

Fabulous story…. Must read touching, honest and loving account of loss and love. I listen d to it in one day.

Emotional and heart warming

After the emotional read of the first book in the series I was looking forward to reading Someone To Hold and it did not disappoint in any way. From the moment I started this book I knew I was in for a long night.

This was an emotional roller coaster of a read and one I couldn’t put down once I started. This is Iris, founder of the Wild Widows Club and Gage’s story and their journey was a rocky one, full of ups and downs.

My emotions were all over the place whilst reading; there were times that I laughed and times that I was moved to tears. My heart went out to both Iris and Gage for everything they have been through, it just about broke my heart. I admired the strength and resilience of Iris and Gage, both have hearts of gold and are there for one another until Gage falters.

The friendships, love and support of the other members of the Wild Widows Club added an additional layer to the story. As with the previous book, this story covers loss, grief and heartache and Marie Force handled it with integrity, not shying away from the harsh realities of life. Someone To Hold is a story of finding love, of hope and taking chances; it was realistic, emotional and extremely well written.

The narration by Addison Barnes and Justin Price who are both new to me did justice to this story and brought the characters to life for me.

Second Chance Romance—Messiness of Life Included

Really enjoying this new Marie Force series where she is keeping it REAL by weaving in the very very messy parts of everyday life which are on center stage as the characters navigate their second-chance romances.

Another Great Book!

The story brought on so much emotion as I felt like I was right there with the characters.

Second Chance for Love

The Wild Widows club is very supportive of all of the members and their progress through grief that has brought them all together. Iris is widowed with three small children and Gage's wife and two daughters were killed in a drunk driving accident. They are on a retreat with everyone when Iris decides to act on her attraction to Gage. He doesn't push her away even though he tells her that he doesn't want another relationship. I thought Marie Force brought compassion and understanding to this story. I'm certainly looking forward to the next book! I haven't heard Addison Barnes or Justin Price narrate before but I thought they brought the characters to life for me.

Sweet story.

This is a Sweet little story that left you feeling good. The female narrator did a great job.
