About this listen

It was a nightmare come true for 17-year-old Ethan. It's hard hiding a secret. It's even harder keeping that secret when someone else knows. Who is the mysterious note-writer, the secret tormentor? Who is the enemy that hides among Ethan's friends and teammates? Who holds Ethan's secret over his head, threatening to destroy his entire world?

Someone Is Watching is the story of a young high-school wrestler who must come to grips with being gay. He struggles first with himself, then with an unknown classmate who hounds his every step. While struggling to discover the identity of his tormentor, Ethan must discover his own identity and learn to live his life as his true self. In the end, he is faced with a terrible decision. He must give up what he wants the most, or face his greatest fear of all.

Gay bashing is coming to an end in Verona.

It looks like gay bashing is nearing an end in Verona. Ethan finds out who is protagonist is and he finds true love. This is a must read if you like these kind of books.

Disappointing end

I was really liking this story until the end. The characters learned nothing from what happened to their friends. They wish they could’ve prevented it, but did nothing to stop it from happening again to someone else because they just wanted it to be over… for themselves. So we are right back where we started. These guys intended to torture and kill them, and they walked away under a flimsy threat to never do it again… they didn’t even report it or tell anyone at all! They clearly don’t care THAT much about o protecting others. The next one will be largely on them.

Good story...

The one bad thing about this audio book is that it's 31 chapters! But, the writing is very well done goes into detail of what's goes on in Ethan's life. According to the author, Ethan is a 17 year old HUNK! And he fights his insecurities almost every day. but he comes out a better man!
