One of the Best!

Dynamic characters, keeps you on edge, the end was a bit sappy but I loved the narrator so much it hardly mattered. Definitely worth the money.

Couldn’t stop listening

Highly recommended this story. The narrator made it come to life. And the story pulled me in immediately. Karen Robards is brilliant at her craft.

Excellent narrator

The story was a slow burn. Kept waiting for something big to happen but it did keep me listening. The narrator’s Germany accent brought life to the story and the time period.

Interesting story read by a skilled narrator whose German accent was quite good. Good to learn more about that period of time.

I couldn’t wait to be able to listen to this audio book each day.

Glad to be reminded of Dane’s resistance to Hilter’s brutal extermination of Jews and others!!!

Karen Robards is a talented writer. This book is well written. If you enjoy a book that is entertaining, has substance, and engaging from beginning to end you should enjoy this one.

I loved this book. It was like I was right there.

Great storytelling in vivid detail. It shows there can be a sliver of hope during the most devastating of times.

Great idea for a book, came up a little short

I am an avid murder mystery & WW2 non-fiction reader so these two ideas coming together in a single book was my dream come true. I wish there would have been a bigger twist than we were given. I would have followed this story another 24 hours if need be. It will make a great movie…
