Feeling better already!

I got this book about 5 days ago, and I already feel better. I have had chronic pain in a muscle in my hip for about 4 months now, I have no idea why or how I pulled it but it has just progressively gotten worse. So, I thought I'd give somatic exercises a try since my phone kept slipping me ads about this newer form of exercise :). I do sit at desk all day, perhaps that has contributed to the pain, but the exercises laid out in this book have definitely helped. They are gentle enough for me feel confident that I'm not going to make the injury worse, and the instructions are very clear. I also thought the narration was pleasant and easy to listen to. Overall, I recommend this book for those of all ages.

Author uses her own personal experiences.

The techniques in this book are excellent. Too many times I have rushed to get in shape and wound up doing it too hard or too quickly. This caused further injury and pain. Following what this book says gently works over time. It is an excellent book.
