Loved it!!

I actually had this book on my kindle TBR and hadn’t gotten to it yet and then saw it was on audio and was sooo happy! Well I’m not happy now, because it’s over and I the other books aren’t out yet and I need to know what happens next! I hope the author is planning on releasing the others soon. The narrators did a good job and I’m seriously hoping for Henry’s demise.

I am hooked

I loved this book. I love paranormal but I admit I'm kind of picky when it comes to romance novels in the PNR world...so many sound awesome but just do not hit for me....but this one captivated me from the first words and took me on a journey I was fully engrossed in. I cannot wait to get the opportunity to listen to the next two and see what is in store for Leo and Vera. Book was was full of action, twists and turns, secrets, suspense, and of course passion when these two finally gave in to their attraction. Narrators did a great job.

I don’t actually think I’ve listened to this male narrator before, his voice is very unique.
The storyline is good enough to continue the series, I enjoyed the premise around the world building.
I need to know what our fmc is.
Gifted audio I would like to continue this series when the audio is out.

Love this world and story

This is my first book from this author and it certainly won't be the last! I will be diving into book 2 once its available on audio, I was really intrigued by this story and the growing romance between Leo and Vera (and between some of the side characters that I hope get their own story or through the other 2 books we can see their love stories!).

I appreciated how naive Vera was but also how she would stand up for herself despite the bad situations she kept being in. I liked that she held her own against Leo and that he appreciated it from her begrudgingly haha. I liked Rand who liked to stir the pot haha and hope he stops his bachelor ways and figures out what he could be missing out on *wink wink*. Oh my goodness Marcus and his crush are so adorable, they made me giggle so much. The plot of the series is a gripping one, and the twists when it comes to Vera and her powers was fun to listen to. I did think this was gonna be dark based on the blurb and the title but there is no real darkness at all in this one (not complaining, just got a different impression from the description). I enjoyed it a lot, I wasn't shocked by the reveal at the end but I thought the author did a good job trying to convince us that he wasn't bad previously and created all the awesome tension between him and Leo whenever they were in the same room or when he was talked about. I cannot wait to see him get his karmic justice, not gonna lie haha. The tension and steam between Vera and Leo was so delicious and had a good ebb and flow. And when things finally happened...swoon! I wanted a nerdy yet strong and dominant Leo of my own haha .

Narration was good by these 2. I am not familiar with them (I do have other audiobooks with one of them that will be moved up in my to be listened list after hearing their performances in this audiobook). I thought they really brought these characters to life, I felt the conflict within Leo, the emotional rollercoaster he was putting Vera through, the family the group was creating between the side characters and Vera and Leo. I did listen at 1.5X speed.

Great audiobook and fab story, hopefully book 2 won't take long to release on audio, I am so here for it 😊

Wow! Wonderful!!

I loved this story. I love Vera and Leo. They have a great relationship dynamic. Rand is hilarious and Henry is an interesting character. The narrators do an excellent job telling the story. I look forward to the next book in the series.

Love Leo

This was my fist book by Lauren and I have to say I'm really looking forward to discovering more books by her. This book was so good from the very first page all the way until the end. Amazing story telling with a great plot.#The FlockonTour

Wow Did I Love this One!

SQUEE!! I really loved this story!! It kept me engaged from the beginning. I easily became invested in the characters lives. The author did an amazing job building this world and these characters. I loved how Leo used his wings and his tail almost as an extra appendage. Very different since she used all of him and they aren't just for looks. Actually she applied that to mutiple characters.

I did listen to this on audio. PJ Morgan and Logan Anare did the narration. They both did a great job and added listening pleasure to any listener.

While this does have a soft ending and those are not my fav it really was an appropriate time in here. I now can jot wait to pick this back up and see all the Vera can accomplish in the next book. Will she ever get wings?

Interesting world

Sold to the demon prince was an interesting listen. It was a steamy provided romance that was paranormal and kept my attention. The way it ended definitely made me interested for book two and I think the narrators did a really good job.

This is book one in the Sins of the Blood War series. Vera is a very unique Fae. Fae are kept as slaves and sold to the highest bidder once they turn 21. When Fae turn 21 they should come into their powers and grow into their wings. However Vera has not grown her wings and doesn’t know what powers she has. Leo is the Demon Prince. He is on a mission to create synthetic Dust and free the Fae. I loved this book! Can’t wait for the next book. P. J. Morgan and Logan Anare did a fantastic job narrating this book.
