About this listen

This book consists of two books, namely:

Personality Disorders - There are a lot of personality disorders, so many, sometimes, that we lose track. Personally, I know someone with schizophrenia, several people who have narcissist traits, autism, and ADHD that run in my own family, and even a few people diagnosed with borderline disorder.

Disorders are a part of society, whether you like it or not. We may feel, at times, that those disorders cause people to act “strange” or “rude”, or “manipulative”. And this may be true, but if we understand the disorders, we can more easily guess where it came from and handle them more appropriately too.

This audiobook will help with that. It classifies the disorders, explains more about them, and gives you more details on how to interact with those who have them.

Sadism and Sociopathy - What makes a person sadistic? What drives a person to hurt another human being? What are the connections of sadism and sociopathy to psychopathy or a messed-up childhood?

These are some of the things we’ll touch on in this extensive guide. We will explore the definitions and applications of the above-mentioned terms, as well as analyze the psychopath brain in further depth. Moreover, some section will go over how to spot a psychopath or sociopath more easily, how you can recognize it in children, or how to interact with someone like that. The audiobook will close with a short overview of some of the evilest people in the world, all of which had sociopath tendencies in one degree or another, and even sadistic ones. If this is your thing, then I encourage you to start reading or listening to this book.

Wow

I was sincerely impressed by this book. It's a bundle of 2, so you can learn a lot from the different subtopics related to sociopaths. There are a lot of sociopaths in society, whether they do something wrong or not. You gotta watch out.

Showing the truth

This book is full of truth. I am happy I got it because I finally understand more about people who become sociopaths or become abused and turn into someone with borderline disorder. Those things happen all the time. I personally know someone who sued someone for rape (definitely falsely accused) because she had borderline disorder and started to make things up.

Mistakes Galore.

I'll give it 3 stars in the story area because the info was decent. But did the editor not realize how often words were being repeated in the same sentence, or how many times the same phrase was said in a single chapter? I got through the whole thing but not without some serious irritation.

It reads a lot like a school textbook written by someone still working towards their psychology degree and just trying to meet the bare minimum for their end of year assignment. Again, decent info. But christ, revise your work. That's what an editor is FOR.

Very poorly written book

The information is basic and surface to tue subjects, but the book is so poorly written it begs the question: “did anyone actually edit it”? Tons of mispronunciations, mistakes, poor grammar, repeated sentences, and sometimes even nonsensical statements.
The psychopath next door is a very good book on this subject if you haven’t already read it.
Don’t bother with this.
