Not Exactly Social Media Marketing for 2020

The book starts by listing the most important platforms and among them lists Google Plus, a platform that was never significant, and was discontinued in the beginning of 2019. I think that started things off on the wrong foot. As someone who has been doing "Social Media Marketing" for over a decade, I was hoping to get information that would be timely especially since they put "for 2020" in the title.

It seems like this book was probably written a few years ago but they didnt get it out until recently so they had to update parts of it. for example, while they mention Google Plus in the beginning of the book, they never actually go into it, making me think they simply dropped a chapter or two.

This is very basic information with blanket concepts. if you are completely new to the idea of social media marketing you might be able to learn something. It might spark an idea or two. That being said I think you could learn more by reading a few free blogs from real experts rather than paying for this.
