This excellent book is very readable and well organized. It is contemporary and draws from modern life for examples and topics. Patrick King provides digestible steps towards increased understanding of social intelligence and in what easy to follow ideas to implement in one’s own life and relationships.

Social Intelligence examines many of the social realms we experience or that are integral to our experience of the world around us, and focuses both the science and the person toward better outcomes.

powerful book.

The most powerful example used is how people on a common platform, when something is not ordinary,can be quickly calmed down by the simple, social connection of seeing how others are perceiving the event. From that construct we can now all see why it is much easier for us to communicate in person as opposed to reading something or talking on a phone.

I LOVE IT.

If you have any interest in why people do what they do, then this is an important book. Just realize that it requires some thought to read and grasp all the concepts put forth in the book.
