A Comprehensive Sobriety Journal for All
While this is a 31-day guide to sobriety challenge, the author makes it a point to explain the reason behind a 31 day challenge so readers can understand the meaning behind this number. I very much appreciate that this journal is for anyone on a sobriety journey no matter which step of the journey they are in, and along this thought, the journal explains how to use this challenge in addition to other therapeutic measures that are already being taken by the readers. The best part of the journal is the acknowledgment of the fact that it is a struggle getting sober alone, so extensive resources and prompts are provided to help the readers not feel alone in their journey to sobriety. Excellent, comprehensive, and easy to follow for anyone looking to get sober!

Transformational Journal
This beautifully constructed journal shows people how to overcome addiction. The author is himself a fellow Alcoholic and so there is a refreshing authenticity to this! It provides excellent advice on monitoring and improving your mindset, personal reflections, and practical guidance on how to stay sober.
Alongside regularly attending a Support Group, I recommend this journal for all struggling addicts. Underneath the addiction there is a void we are trying to fill and this journal is an excellent starting point for identifying that void and regaining control of your life from the inside out. Highly Recommend!

Sober on a drunk planet
I wish there was a book like this when I was trying to quit smoking. This audiobook is a great tool for anyone who wants to quit drinking. The challenges are on point, and the author obviously understands the need and the challenges that are faced with quitting. The journaling prompts and daily reflections are effective tools, but what really caught my eye was the finance tracker. When you track how much you are saving and look back at how much you wasted, wow. Very eye-opening. I highly recommend this audiobook for anyone who wants to truly make a change in your life.

Great to help support someone you love
A close friend of mine has started down the path of recovery from alcoholism, and I wanted to find a way to help support her. I couldn't relate to her problems, but I wanted to find a way to support her. Witnessing the struggles she was having started to make me realize just how complex and challenging the recovery process can be. I think the book takes a unique approach to triggers and sober accountability. There is a section for identifying people, places, and things triggers was helpful to hear about because I felt like this is where I can be supportive. I feel like this book is not just for those recovering but for those in their life who want to be supportive, too. Sobriety requires consistent and conscious effort; the strategies presented in the book help to support this.
I feel much more equipped to help my friend through this long road, and I have a much better understanding of what she may be going through. Also, I now have more information and feel that I can be a much better supportive sounding board to help on this journey.

A great tool for getting Sober Accountability
What I like about "Sober on a Drunk Planet" by Sean Alexander is that it is a great resource for those interest in getting themselves sober, or learning how to help another with this challenging task. You incorporate a journal to keep you on a path of challenges to guide you to a successful outcome. This is a great tool for guidance in gaining sober accountability.
