The Humanity if Grief
Loved the humanization of grief and grieving with all of its ugliness and beauty. Loved the mother-daughter relationship that was the anchor of the story as well as the sources of strength. Such an empowering reflection.

Firoozeh Dumas has written a masterful, gripping, dynamic story about heartbreak and healing, faith and love. She brings her generous humor and signature wit to heavy questions we all share, and invokes the mystery and magic of life.
