Bad Boy comes Good

I loved this book, I just had to keep listening to it from the shocking start when Luther is so horrible to Sophie to the conclusion at Nirvana.

Sophie met and married Luther when she was very young, he was older then her and very controlling. She had never known another man. When she discovers in the most hurtful way that he has been unfaithful and wants a divorce she walks away with just two suitcases and what's left of her pride. Eventually she takes a job at Nirvana, a working dude ranch and there she meets Jared.

Jared is a loner, a ladies man with no intention of falling in love. He is damaged because of an abusive father and thinks he doesn't deserve someone like Sophie. Fate has a way of working things out and the story of how these two come together and heal each other was, in my opinion, a lovely well written love story.

The writing is good, the sex is hot and steamy and the ending was perfect.

A good afternoon read

I enjoyed this read very much. Steamy sex, sexy H, good setting. Not a cliffhanger.

Enjoyable Listen

Although this book is part of a series, this is a standalone listen. This book was very enjoyable and full of sex. I found this title to be original. I was voluntarily provided with this review copy audiobook at no charge by the author, narrator, and/or publisher.

Hot!

The story and scenes are hot. I liked how the h and H's relationship was developing. The end just seemed kind of abrupt. I wish it had ended differently.

Good Contemporary Romance

This is part of a series but you can enjoy it as a standalone. It is an interesting story with some heartbreak at first but an interesting love story about two very different characters that fall for each other.

The narrator does a great job bringing the story to life. He has a nice voice and pace.

The characters are interesting and there are some steamy scenes. The story was engaging and I really enjoyed the conclusion.

This is Book 3 in the Cowboys of Nirvana series but is a standalone story. Sofie and Jared are both damaged people - Sofie because of a cheating husband and Jared because of his abusive father. They are able to find love and healing (and lots of steamy sex!) with each other. Overall, an enjoyable listen. Good story, good narration and I would recommend Smoke. Fire. Cowboy.

Cowboy Love!

Sofie started working at Nirvana Ranch after a rough divorce. Jared was a known womanizer and she didn't care for his sort, except after getting rejected by another cowboy on the ranch, Jared seemed like the best person to turn to for comfort. Is it just a one-night stand or might it be more between them? And how long can they keep their hot and steamy relationship from the other cowboys on the ranch?

I have not listened to book 1 or 2 in the series and will vouch that this book can standalone.

Cowboy and Society Lady

I got this book via audiobook boom. I enjoyed it so much I went back and bought the first book. I already had book 3. This was a well-written series and the story was well developed. I was very angry with the X-husband but the cowboy was kind of a wimp at first. But he stepped up. I liked book 3 better than book 2. Have not listened to book 1 yet. The narrator was good. there was one spot where the sentence was repeated twice during the narration but this did not take away from the story.

Ok stroy

I read other book in this series, while no my favorite...not a bad read. This wasn't a bad story, just nothing special. If your looking for a quick romance with a happy ending.
