About this listen

In this collection of gripping novellas from the top authors of Christian romantic suspense, sins of the past lead to danger in the present.

In Dee Henderson's "Missing", a Wyoming sheriff is called to Chicago when his elderly mother goes missing. Paired with a savvy Chicago cop, the two realize her disappearance is no accident, and a race against the clock begins.

Dani Pettrey returns to Alaska with "Shadowed", introducing listeners to the parents of her beloved McKenna clan. Adventure, romance, and danger collide when a young fisherman nets the body of an open-water swimming competitor who may actually be a possible Russian defector.

Lynette Eason's "Blackout" delivers the story of a woman once implicated in a robbery gone wrong. The loot has never been found - but her memory of that night has always been unreliable. Can she remember enough to find her way to safety when the true culprit comes after her?

2 outta 3 ain't bad

The first story Missing by Dee Henderson took me by surprise because normally her books are really good and suspenseful. This story fell flat for me, I don't know if it was the story, the narrator or both. This story had a male narrator with no variation to his voice.

I was glad I got to read the second story Shadowed by Dani Pettrey as I've read the series starring the McKenna siblings. It was nice to see how the parents got together.

Last but certainly not least is Blackout by Lynette Eason was definitely my favorite as it was full of suspense! And a awesome narrator!

Good Stories

Each of the three books were good stories. Enough suspense, to hear more. GrahamWinton was a little too quiet with some of the characters he portrayed...had a little bit of a hard time hearing, sometimes.

Really Enjoyed This!

I liked all three stories. My favorite was Dani Pettrey's. I was actually nice having three shorter stories, made the mysteries go by at a faster pace for me! The narrators were excellent as well.

Three of my favorite authors...

...all in one audiobook! How'd I get so lucky?

Because these are novelas, there's not a lot of space to have anything but fast love-at-first-sight romances while everyone is dodging bullets and bad guys. But I was willing to suspend disbelief and thoroughly enjoy the stories. If you love sweet Christian romantic suspense, then you'll love these stories. ❤️

3 stories...

Any additional comments?

First story is the tamest, but the worst narrator (just a reader in my opinion). Second story had more action, but narrator detracted from the story just a little, but wasn't too bad. Third story has the most action and the best narrator.

Love the authors

I love the Christian romantic suspense authors. While nothing is sugar coated, there are no sex scenes, foul language, or prolonged detailed violence.
Some of the characters have a deep Christian faith some don’t. But God is amazing in both the real and fictional world!!

Wonderful!

Not only duscovered a new faith-based, suspense writer, Lynette Eason, but totally enjoyed the telling of the stories by the narrators.
Well done!
