After being sexually abused by her father and uncle from age 3 to 12. Physically, mentally, and emotionally abused by male figures from age 3 to 24. Raped three times in her life by strangers who weren’t her father and uncle. Kailee lived in secrecy in an antisocial life for over 20 years. She believed she would take her secrets to her grave but the secrets were haunting her daily. This led her down a self-sabotage path, until she finally broke her silence and told her mother. When her mother died in a terrible accident, Kailee went on to share her story to the world.
A Shattered Girl’s Survival is a memoir and guide for victims of a variety of abuse to help them heal from their trauma. The book goes into detail of her life growing up along with how she survived the abuse. It shares mistakes she has made along with lessons learned from them. The book is a roadmap of her recovery and path to finding peace.
Kailee believes this book will help other victims in their recovery. It will resonate deep in their souls and encourage them to get out of their abusive relations. She hopes this book will help prevent suicides and give victims the life they deserve.
