After her junker breaks down, Lucy finds herself stranded and without funds. Time is of the essence for this not-so-big Cat. She needs to earn some fast cash to fix her car before some dumb Shifter tries to turn her into a chew toy.

Luckily, she spies a help wanted sign at a biker bar. Walking into Serious Moonlight to inquire about a job is a piece of cake, or so she thinks. Imagine her surprise when the sexy new owner turns out to be her mate and that's not all.

The gorgeous male is not only a Dire Wolf, he's the Pack Alpha. Larger than life and chock full of testosterone, this monster is used to getting his way, but that doesn't mean Lucy will make it easy on the big guy.

Cats and Dogs

This story is about Derrick, an Alpha Dire Wolf and his pack settling down in Blue Creek, NJ. A lone hybrid cat shifter named Lucy appears needing a job and a place to live. They discover that they are fated mates. There are a lot of interesting characters that will hopefully be spotlighted in upcoming books. Sadie Provost did a good job narrating this story.

Perfect From Beginning to End!

Just one sniff … that’s all it took for Alpha Dire Wolf Derrick Rand to realize the “down on her luck”, sassy, Feline Hybrid Shifter he was interviewing was HIS fated mate! Feline Hybrid Shifter Lucy Corwyn may need a job, and a place to stay, but she’s determined it will ONLY be until she has the funds to get her junkyard wannabe car back on the road! Ohhh Derrick, best be prepared to “Shake that Sass” if you’re going to try and change THIS one’s mind! I’m gonna tell you right here, right now, “Shake That Sass” is one hundred percent PERFECT in every way! Beautifully written with a perfect flow, smooth, easy to follow and no lagging, the story is interesting and engaging! The situational aspect is a delightful balance of heat and humor, with a nice dash of suspenseful intrigue tossed in to really let Derrick and Lucy strut their stuff! I’m giving no details to avoid spoilers, but believe me, the interplay between Derrick and Lucy is smart, sassy and laugh out loud hilarious, AND the chemistry between these two is incendiary! The supporting characters are fantastic as well! All the characters are so well defined, my mind “pictured” them as I listened, and ALL the characters parts are beautifully written to enhance both the story’s depth AND humor! Speaking of enhancing the humor … holy moly the narration! Such fun, such perfectly accented, perfectly voiced and perfectly timed narration! I was in tears … of laughter! It was beyond all doubt PERFECTION! This entire production, writing and narration was sheer perfection! Five stars. I LOVED it!

Loved this one!!

C.D. Gorri is a favorite author of mine. Lucy and Derek are faded mates. One is a hybrid cat and the other a wolf. Lucy isn’t buying into the faded mates stuff so easily. Patience is what Derek will need while he convinces her. Can she let go of her troubled past to have a future she deserves? grab the story you won’t be disappointed.
Sadie Provost did a great job narrating this one.

I really enjoyed this book very much, this books about a girl name Lucy, she has never really had anyone there for her. she's always been on her own and at a very young age. so when some tragic happens she ends up finding herself in a small town and what does she find there, well idk your just going to have to listen/read this book, all I have to say is I know I enjoyed every bit of this book and I hope you do too.

Paranormal Romance

C.D. Gorri wrote a great paranormal romance. Sadie Provost did a great job on the narration. The main characters might be Fated mates but only one of them wants it one the beginning. There is coaxing, spies, and more. It’s interesting, funny, and will leave you wanting more. Would recommend

Steamy Paranormal

I enjoyed this entertaining steamy paranormal audiobook narrated by talents of narrator Sadie Provost. I liked relationship between the main characters.

she needs control

I really like Lucy and I understand her need to control her life and her need to stay safe and not connect to any one. I love Derrick and his need to take care of his pack and his need to settle and grow roots. I really did enjoy this story. There was a lot of repetitive statements about his need to settle, which just shows how much he cares for his pack. His mom and her nomad pack sound like fun. I love this book. I love the way he and Lucy immediately connect but he is still so patient with her. I look forward to more books about this group. Edited to add, upon second read via the audible version, I still love Lucy and feel for her. The narrator does a good job with inflection and vocal cues of the different voices.

Book one in this series? Peak Sass!

I mean, if you're gonna give me fated mates, give me this kind of fated mates—full of fire, banter, and irresistible chemistry. Lucy? Total powerhouse. She doesn’t just hold her own with an alpha, she sparks off him like flint and steel. I was living for every scene where she served attitude with a side of wit. The romance? Deliciously entertaining. And the narration? Spot on. Voices, pacing, tone—nailed it. All in all, this book brought the heat, the sass, and the kind of alpha-female dynamic I love to see.
