I truly can not wait until the next audiobook comes out. I have been stuck on this series since day one.

Great book.
Enjoyed it and I think any fan of the series will as well.

My only issue is that there was no end of book chapter or two giving a peak at our MC, kinda blowing off the all encompassing overview feel the previous books have given us, when the end book has given POV of Max’s group.
Why no vice-versa at eob, here?

Anyway great book, great story, and great performance.
Podehl has done Akella proud again.

I too had no real interest in this Max only story

But I continued to listen from what was a slow and whining start.... I’m only about 1/3 the way through but since I’ve literally been laughing out loud of Roman’s sister relating the successes Krian has experienced to the rest of her friends since he started, I decided to post a review now instead of waiting till the end. Very entertaining and can’t wait till the 2 story paths finally meet!

love the sode character development

had no problems listening to the end. however,i want to lnow more about whats happenong with the stories main character. im sure that we will get more but i do love the story developments seen thru the npcs.

I warr a little worried that the narrator had changed but I shouldn't have been. Nick is awesome in all his works and this was no exception. I'm glad this book focused on max's group. this is building up for something huge and I'm looking forward to it.

I was apprehensive about the performer change but he did a fine job. Love the series. I've been playing the first 3 on repeat for a couple of years. I am already dieing for the next book! Take my money G. Akella!!
