After all, I thought I was just a half-witch. Until Noah showed me there was more to me than what met the eye.

I’d always been told never to trust vampires. I’d always been told to beware of them. They’re dangerous and mysterious, and only look out for themselves. But I did the opposite of what I was told. I did more than just trust him.

He’s the only one who can help and protect me. He’s the only one who seems to know what’s going on. He's the only one who seems to be able to speak to my heart.

It’s never a good idea to mix business with pleasure. I just can’t resist the irresistible temptation that lures me to him. Calling to me and singing to my soul, even though I know I shouldn’t be with him.

We both know the day will come when we have to choose. Neither of us can escape destiny. It’s the one sure thing we know we can’t change. If we try, darkness and death will reign.
