Serpents

Serpents is the first book in The Serpents of Cinderhart Academy series. Logan Fox is a new author to me. This book was pretty interesting. I am super excited to see where this series will lead. This is a suspenseful, bully, why choose romance.

Chloe Ryan and Benjamin Sands did a great job narrating this book.

Holy Guacamole!

Just finished The Serpents by Logan Fox and I'm still reeling! 🐍 This mystery had me hooked from the first page. There is so much not known about the school and the town. The slow-burn bully romance was everything I wanted, but I wish we'd gotten a glimpse into Nim's feelings for Mason, Silas, and Knox. 💔 Can't wait to see where this series goes!

This was a fun one!

My first Logan Fox read, and what I’ve learned here is that this will not be my last :). I liked the mysterious opening scene, the likable female lead and supporting characters that I either also liked or loved to hate.

What I didn’t love was having to suspend belief for just a bit of it. For example, a school where fellow students can write each other up and order suspensions and other punishments doesn’t seem feasible to me. (If you know of somewhere this is a thing though, enlighten me.

Loved the small town and secret society vibes.

Bully romance...

Serpents is book one of the Serpents of Cinderhart Academy series. This is dark, bully, reverse harem romance that has many triggers. The plot is captivating. You get complex characters, who have depraved urges and extreme bullying. There are many loose ends with this book that ends on a cliffy. Nim, Knox, Mason and Silas' story will keep you hooked from start to finish, what an emotional roller coaster ride for sure.

Chloe Ryan & Benjamin Sands did a great job with this story and these characters.

I Loved Listening To This Book

This book has trigger warning in the beginning of the book and if you are someone who has triggers when listening you will want to heed them. I will also warn you that once you start this dark heart pounding book you will not want to lay it down and I didn't I was so hooked on this story. Oh and did I mention this is a reverse harem book. This is the story of Nim who has never had the best life possible. She has been dealt some crappy cards in life. But one night she accidently turns up in the wrong place at the wrong time and is the witness murder committed by Knox, Mason and Silas. But she has enough sense to get the heck out of there but they all catch her and threaten her. Now she is about to run into them again at the University and she's about to learn just to psychotic these sociopathic guys really are. They hold all the power at the school and all the students their worship them. I have read some books who have some really bad guys in them before but these three really take the cake and I think my heart was in my throat a lot of the time. These two have the torture and humiliate Nim game going on strong and she just might not survive them. You guys this book is dark and gritty and had me on the edge of my seat. I loved every single second of it and couldn't put it down. There are so many secrets yet to come and I can't wait to find out what they are. And I am also a firm believer that Nim is a smarter girl than she lets on she is and I know one day she is going to show those three exactly who she is. I loved how this book was narrated. They bought it to life so well that it played like a movie in my head.

Dark, Suspense, Bullying anti-heroes

This is the second book I've listened to by Logan Fox. It's the first book in this series which ends on a cliffhanger. I hope the next audiobook releases soon. We get to know the characters a bit, but there is so much that is left a mystery regarding the people, the place, the storyline. I'm sitting here wondering what is going on and how will these guys be redeemed?!? At this point, I am not invested in the guys at all, but completely feel for Nim. I look forward to book 2, just to see if the author can redeem Knox, Mason, and Silas.

Chloe Ryan and Benjamin Sands did a great job narrating. Benjamin is new to me. There was small portion where I noticed he was taking a breath at the end of every sentence, but loved his voice. They both performed with emotion and it ran like a movie in my head. Well done!

Serpents

Serpents is the first book in The Serpent & The Songbird series. This book is told from multiple points of view, with the main person being Nim. This book is dark and has trigger warnings, but I don't have any issues so I loved every minute of this book!

Nim was in the wrong place at the wrong time. She saw something she shouldn't have, and the guys told her if she said anything they would go after her. After something happens to her parents, she ends up at the same school as them, and they make her life harder than it was.

Nim finds out more about these guys, but at the same time realizes that they have other people in their pockets. Everyone at the school is scared of them and backs down, but Nim will fight for herself.

So many things happened in this book, and I can't wait to see what will happen with Nim and the guys in the next book!

Fantastic dark bully why choose romance! I can't wait until the next one is released on audio! I listened to it in 1 go. The narrators did a phenomenal job bringing this book to life. I would recommend.

Dark Why Choose Bully Romance

Serpents by Logan Fox is a dark why choose college bully romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Chloe Ryan and Benjamin Sands. This is the first book in the Serpents of Cinderhart Academy series.

This is the first book of Logan's that I have read and it won't be my last. I was hooked from the very beginning and couldn’t wait to see what would happen next. I loved getting Knox, Mason, Silas, and Nim’s points of views throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.

The book ended on a great cliffhanger that left me begging for more. I can’t wait for the next book in the series Savages to be released on audio.

Benjamin and Chloe did an amazing job on the narration. They both really know how to bring a story to life. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.

I would recommend this book if you’re looking for a dark romance, bully romance, academy romance, or why choose romance.
