A jewel
Although the title of the book may seem to imply that the author focuses only of the 17th-23rd of June 1789 period, this is not so. The events leading to the French Revolution and a thorough analysis of its causes are also explained. The period after June 23rd is brushed over. What I mostly liked about the book is that the chapters are quite short: each chapter deals with a single point so that by summarising each chapter you get bullets that provide the main points to know about the French Revolution.
