terrible audio quality

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

If I were feeling generous, if the audio quality were good, and if this one hour program had sold for two or maybe three dollars, then I might have given it a four star rating.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Jared Doreck?

I did not have much of a problem with the narrator, although I do wish that all audio books would be read a bit less dramatically. The problem that I have with this title is mostly that the sound quality is terrible. It is very "muddy" sounding. It is hard to understand what is being said under ideal listening conditions. It is impossible to follow if water is running, or there is road noise or other background noise. Working in the kitchen and while commuting to school are the primary times which I listen to audio books. On top of that, they charged me five dollars for this one hour program, which would be out of line even if the audio quality were acceptable, and the story more interesting.
