About this listen

Riffem wasn't a great wizard, at least not by the standards of the game. He couldn't cast big fireballs or powerful lighting bolts to devastate his enemies. He wasn't getting very far in his wizarding career and doubted he ever would. Then a chance encounter with a dragon at the local inn changed everything.

Now Riffem is on a quest to find seven beautiful women for his new dragon lord, Thraxrax. Even with the help of Yth, an intensely cerebral mind melter, and the wanton dragonkin warrior Klaezarsta, he finds himself way out of his depth. Lacking sheer power, he'll have to rely on his wits and luck to succeed. If he does, a life of luxury awaits him. If he fails, his new lord will turn him into a deep fried wizard kabob.

An exotically beautiful centaur woman, a gregarious goo girl, a nefarious succubus, and a highly temperamental female fire elemental that just wants a hug wait within this story. Turn up the volume, and explore this virtual world.

Wow...

I’ve had my phone talk back to me with more emotion giving me a weather report than Matt Standley had narrating this book. The book is good but was killed by monotone.

Loved the Story, but...

The story was fairly good and had only a few minor issues, but sadly the narration was very lacking. Most of the time I thought I'd been listening to a B-rated porno. So if you decide to give it a listen, do not place much value in the narration and just enjoy the adventure in the story.

Do not waste your time !!!!!

I normally do not leave reviews, but unfortunately the narrator of this book is the worst I have ever heard. The author, from what I understand, typically writes for adults. This particular book is at best a PG rating. My wife and I prefer more "adult" books but this is not why I am giving this book a bad rating. The narrator's reading ability is what killed this book for me.you should have chosen someone like Jeff Hayes with Soundbooth. They do these types of books very well. The story itself was good-- I do not and will not slam authors for what they write.
