Acerca de esta escucha
The search for the Ark of the Covenant has been dramatized in movies and researched in documentaries over the years, capturing the imaginations of archaeologists and Christians the world over. Although the final resting place of the Ark is controversial, and clouded with confusion, explorer Bob Cornuke believes that the Ark of the Covenant was transported from ancient Israel and is in Ethiopia today. As unusual as Ethiopia may sound, Cornuke has uncovered compelling evidence that the Ark may well have been spirited up the Nile River to an eventual resting place in the remote highlands of ancient Kush "modern Ethiopia". Cornuke travels to Axum, where today he believes the Ark is kept in absolute isolation at St. Mary of Zion Church by a man referred to as "The Guardian of the Ark of the Covenant". Now Bob, using all of his training and skills as a police investigator, takes you along for a first-hand account of his journey. Join this modern-day Indiana Jones on his adventure to Ethiopia, Egypt, Israel, and Rome where Bob will uncover evidence that very well may reveal where the Ark of the Covenant is today.

Bob Cornuke should be considered one of the eight wonders of the world, which is saying something considering my late husband, Jim Irwin, was the eighth man to walk on the moon. Bob, Jim, and, at times, myself, experienced some astonishing adventures together. Once we were even placed under house arrest in Turkey while searching for Noah’s Ark on Mount Ararat. These two men shared some wild exploits and were so much alike, you couldn’t help but love them.

Historia
Escape into this odyssey and you will find yourself reckoning with the actual account of the Apostle Paul's historic shipwreck recorded in the Bible. In September of 2000, Bob Cornuke flew to Malta. That trip marked the start of nearly two years of research and discovery in search of the lost anchors described in Acts. The true story of The Lost Shipwreck of Paul reads like a gripping fiction novel, as Cornuke takes readers along with him into the investigation. Using techniques he learned as a police officer and crime scene investigator, he probes each angle of the mystery.

Historia
The fate of the Lost Ark of the Covenant is one of the great historical mysteries of all time. The Bible contains hundreds of references to the Ark's power, but the Ark itself mysteriously disappears from recorded history sometime after the building of the Temple of Solomon. After 10 years of searching through the dusty archives of Europe and the Middle East, Graham Hancock has succeeded where scores of others have failed. This intrepid journalist has tracked down the true story behind the myths and legends - revealing where the Ark is today, how it got there, and why it remains hidden.

Can you imagine the upheaval in political and religious thinking if the Temple Mount in Jerusalem is not the site of Solomon's and Herod's temples? And what if the stones of the Wailing Wall are not what tradition says? In this highly-researched, exciting account, the author proposes from current archaeological excavations and Scriptural corroboration that the true temple location is not where tradition teaches. This is required for anyone who wants to fit together the pieces of biblical records, current geopolitics, and prophecy.

Very Interesting Follow-up to Hancock’s Book
This book offers a great retracing of Graham Hancock’s book about the Ark. Mr. Cornuke spent more time in Ethiopia and performed more in-depth interviews and research. This is a very good balance of story telling and research. Definitely a recommended read!
