But the fifteen acres behind the school are enticing for more than just a school reunion. One realtor soon reveals plans to buy the land and build over it—unless the crew can find a way to stop the sale.

In their search to prevent the purchase, they come across something unexpected: a dead body, which might not be the first to show up this season. With a little aid from Tee Tucker the corgi and Irish Wolfhound Pirate, as well as feline sleuths Mrs. Murphy and Pewter, Harry just might have a chance at solving this mystery and preventing the land purchase once and for all.

learned about a new mineral and Virginia

Storyline drug. Not Rita's and Sneaky's best work. Usually quite riveting, but not this story.

Love this series

This was an excellent addition to the series. I have been waiting months to get the new book. Having said that, the production and proofing crew should go back through as there are production errors- words repeated and occasional weird sounds or sentences that drift off with a few seconds of silence before the next line. These are not dramatic pauses. Anyway, they are a small price to pay to get to enjoy a novel by Sneaky Pie and the author I would most like to go riding with, the unstoppable Rita Mae Brown!!

Why all the production problems?

Book and story is great so is Kates reading. I have all these audio books so I am really surprised at the poor recording, so far over 20 repeats, missed words, and slight jumps in story. I have over a thousand books here on audible. Ive been a member since the begining and the is almost the worst produced book. The only thing Ive found to be worst is the AI voice!
