Great story

At first it was difficult to switch back and forth in time, but once the story got started, it was easy to follow. Loved the story line. Highly recommend.

Not my cup of tea. To much up down exaggerated voice that is annoying. Ruins the book. I mean who speaks like that. No one. Annoying!! Ruins the whole experience. I be sure to avoid this narrator even if I really would like the book

A pleasant surprise!

I came upon this book among bargains offered by Amazon but what a jewel of a find. I bought the ebook and the audible book and am so glad I did. Listening to the book was like eating the most delicious meal. I didn't want it to be over. The reader was delightful and conveighed the spirit of the story beautifully. An overall wonderful experience.

Special story!!

I loved this book and wish everyone with a troubled marriage would read it. Love can be revived if one is willing to let go of preconceived expectations. Most relationships are worth salvaging but they need truth and honesty. Thank you for this book.

First book I have read by you and I found it an excellent read. I look forward to reading more of your books. I would have like to have know if Ella's daughter had read the manuscript.

Simply a wonderful read!

This is a captivating and totally engrossing novel. I lost myself in the characters, the island, the love and the heartache of this beautiful story and did not want it to come to an end. It is so well written and so beautifully performed that I was transported into the story and that almost never happens to me. I highly recommend this exceptional book and have already downloaded another by Ms. Valpy!
