About this listen

Unaware by even the angels, God chose a relatively normal man named Chado Cole to be a part of a mission that started over 6,000 years ago - a mission that holds the fate of humanity in the balance.

As Chado makes his transition into the spiritual realm, his eyes are opened to the mysteries of God. Now he walks among angels and is led by one: the mighty Warrior Angel Uriel. This angel has watched over and protected him from birth; yet now they walk together. Along their journey, a bonding relationship grows, as the beauty of heaven is unveiled and the undisclosed mission of God is revealed.

This novel has deeply and personally touched many people. The response has been overwhelming. Numerous booklovers are finding the words comforting and the story thought-provoking and spiritually moving.

Throughout time, many religions have presented differing beliefs of the afterlife. Whatever they may be, they all point to the same thing: We surely all have a final destination. Ask yourself: Is there a heaven or hell? When I die, will I simply cease to exist and my body turn to dust? If I make it to heaven, what will I do for eternity? Will I see and know my family and friends? What about angels and demons? Are they real?

Let the true events of the author’s life, mixed with his fictional imagination, carry you through the portals of the unknown!

Very engaging story and free of offensive material

I enjoyed the story and the characters were easy to embrace and care about what happened to them. The author did a good job of engaging my desire to see the protagonist succeed. The story maintained the right amount of mystery to keep me following the plot and I ended up looking forward to the sequal.
There are a few scriptural deviations such as human souls becoming angels, but this is a work of fiction and an enjoyable read.
It is very suitable for a Christian or moral person who does not want to be assailed by gratuitous actions, graphic violence, bad language, or corrupted moral values/world views.

Great Story

I really enjoyed this work. It paints an amazing picture of God’s Love for us and the horror of a life lived rejecting that love. Not since This Present Darkness have I been so captured. Thank you for reaching me with your work.

So enjoyed reading this heart warming heavenly book. Russell sure knows how to tell a story well. I particularly loved the stories within the story. Looking forward to the next book.

wow

This was a really cool book. Engaging your imagination of heaven and what it might be like. Only thing i really thought could have been different was the first 2 angles claiming to have been humans then became angles. Other than that allot of scripture backed perspectives. I really enjoyed it.

Tedious and Boring

When I got this book, I though it was going to be great. All the action happens in the first chapter. Then it just drags on and on and on. I had to truly struggle to get through this book. There was no climax in the story. The narrator didn't help AT ALL. I get the general idea of what the author was trying to convey but seriously, it was just too long. And it only gave 3 accounts for the "actual" scars of his guardian angel. I was beginning to become offended, as it appears most of the "life threatening" encounters were with Black people. - Although, I am going with the benefit of the doubt that this was portrayal was unintended.
But I am not impressed with this book at all.

Aweful

I really wanted this book to be good. So was very disappointed. The permits that God and heaven is under siege is monumentally asinine. Since the books premise is based on this, there is no way for the Author to recover.

so disheartening

It completely hurt my heart listening to this. every time the main character was in danger at the hands of another person it was a black person. I was truly saddened by this. I was enjoying the story but after the third "it was a black man" I had to stop listening.
