The Series Keeps Getting Better & Better!
This is another Jenny Schwartz winner! It begins after one of my favorite J. Schwartz series: “The Adventures of a Xeno-Archaeologist.” The Delphic Dame Series picks up the story from Cherry’ perspective and I LOVE IT!!!! I listened to books 1-2 back to back and I am now heavily invested in this new group of lovable characters as much as I am those in the preceding series.
If you prefer a more cerebral Sci-Fi action story, this is the author and series for you. My only con is I kept holding off listening to the 1st two books because I wanted to listen to the available 3rd book in the series and it wasn’t available. But I am happy I didn’t wait, Tess Irondale did such a great job that as I start reading book three I feel I gained nuance I wouldn’t have otherwise. ***applause***

Good stuff
Space. Action. Unusual species of aliens. Thought- provoking and very insightful at times, caused me to rewind and listen again a few times.
With one of those “super tight family against all odds” that’s somehow comforting to all of us as we navigate life.
But overall, it’s not too heavy and entertaining. Tight writing that keeps story moving at a quick pace that keeps interest.
