Saved By the Grumpy Bigfoot

Maya Rhineheart has always known Bigfoot exists. A Bigfoot cub once saved her life when she was just a child. Now an award-winning journalist, she’s determined to prove these cryptids are more than mere myth, and she’s willing to stake her reputation on it.

However, Maya’s boyfriend doesn’t share her conviction, dismissing her beliefs as nothing short of madness. So when he suggests a romantic getaway to a remote cabin in the Yukon Territory, Maya is suspicious, especially knowing his penchant for cruel pranks. Not to mention, she’s a city girl who thinks roughing it is staying at a hotel without room service.

While Maya is worried that she’s not going to survive without internet access, she is excited about tracking down the sightings in the area. Although when her boyfriend dresses up as Bigfoot and leaps out at her during a hike, she’s more sad than angry at being a punchline to his joke … again.

But then, a real Bigfoot shows up out of nowhere and beats the ever lovin’ snot out of her boyfriend before slinging Maya over his enormous shaggy shoulder and carrying her off into the forest.

For Kael Tallstrider, seeing his mate return to the forest is nothing short of miraculous. He’d resigned himself to the idea that she’d never come back, but now that she’s here, he’s determined to never let her go. Maya, skeptical of soulmates and destiny, struggles to come to terms with Kael being the one who rescued her all those years ago.
As their forbidden romance blossoms, Maya realizes she’s never been happier. However, the Tallstrider tribe, wary of humans, sees her presence as a threat, especially with her ties to the media.

When Maya’s ex-boyfriend floods the woods with hunters to get her back, Maya faces an impossible choice: return to the city and her career to protect Kael and his tribe or live on the run and off the grid with her grumpy Bigfoot and his tribe who may never accept her.
