Unique Tarzan type mystery romance

I really enjoyed this audiobook. I found the story of this child who survived in the wilderness and how he came to be there fascinating. Enjoyable characters, a little bit of a mystery, and some romance thrown in for good measure. If the book had a weakness it is that the end felt a little rushed. I was still happy with the ending, it just felt a little slim when compared to the rest of the book.

Awesome, awesome...

Just the best book I've read this year. Mia Sheridan knows how to relate a great story, no doubt. Have read others she has written. However, this one rises to the top of the heap. Characters are richly drawn and you feel invested in their lives. In Savaged, the wilderness is incredibly portrayed so you feel the trauma Jak experiences. Wonderfully woven.
Jak is the boy/man who survives in the wilderness from age 8 to adulthood and through scarring events meets a young woman, another type of survivor. Although the book has a great romance, it has mystery and suspense. And so much more.
A must read. A must read!

Excellent book

This was exciting, beautiful and thought provoking. It was not predictable, some interesting plot twists. The characters felt authentic. Highly recommend.

Much more than a romance

Savaged is a beautiful novel about love, hope, second chances, and good karma. it's a slow burn, complex novel about a boy who has lived in the wilds until his early twenties. The reasons why and how this happened and how he is linked to Harper, a wilderness guide who is helping the police with their investigations, will be gradually disclosed. It's well worth the time and patience, at the beginning, needed to reach the second part of the novel when the plot starts to unfold more clearly. I enjoyed the audio narration.

Amazing!

This is the best book I’ve listened to in a long time. I hardly ever write a review. It was so touching and so heart felt. Do your self a favor and get this one. Simply breath taking! I finished it in two days. Couldn’t wait to listen every day!

Good story... too wordy

The story was interesting and the action at a really good pace. Some passages were a little verbose and slowed the story way down. Good performances too.

A unique story filled with heartbreak, joy, sadness, laughter and love. It will hook you in from the start. I couldn’t put it down!

Great Story

Loved it. I believe this story would make a great movie. I have to wonder if this is truly happening today.
