Thats what the two books in this series really are: modern epics.

Lukes Bloopers take a somber ending into a giggle fest.

I hated this story at fist.

Like I said I hated it at first, I did end up listening to it at 1.35 speed, because it is paced a little slow, but as you go through it you suddenly realize your concerned for the characters and are invested in them and their desires. Been a wile since I felt anxiety for a book character, and as always Luke Daniels performance was stellar. 15 stars all the way.

Was not what I expected

This was far more engaging than I thought it would be. Great humor and characters.

Another incredible entry

I’ve been a fan of this author since first reading. Ascend Online and I’m happy to say this series continues in that trend. An interesting storyline, well thought out characters, and out of control action scenes. Will keep you on the edge of your seat all the way to the very end.

Holy balls that’s was umm amazing

I loved every bit of this my heart was moving at light speed and every twist turn and reveal! Ahhhh I’m still not over that last battle 😭.

Better connective tissue

This book has to have better connective tissue for the plot so you don’t feel as disjoined as book one. Looking forward to book 3 whenever it comes around

Main character

I don’t understand why this author refuses to ever just let the main character succeed as himself time and time again he shows that he’s bad ass but then always makes him lose it’s so stupid and ruins an otherwise great book

Started out good

And just got better. The ending is a bit dramatic, but still very satisfying. The writers created a really fun story and Luke Daniels is a master as always. Can’t wait for book 3!!
