Match Made In Heaven

I read this book when it was released and loved it. This audiobook captures this unconventional love story perfectly.

I’m not sure how to feel…

I’m torn… this had so much potential. The plot and chemistry were on point, then it went all over the place. I feel like it started off great, then after their first time together it just all speeds up. Then it slows down at strange parts, then picks back up again. A little too much internal monologue, like a sentence or so too long. The side characters were kind of afterthoughts? Like just a blip here and there. And we got almost no background on Saint which bothered me a bit. I had no clue why he thought the way he did, and what pushed him to make the decisions he did. The biggest thing that bothered me *SPOILER* is when Saint bursts into Damon’s office to actually give the relationship a shot, there was literally no build up. No insight into Saints thinking and how he came to that decision, just walks in and decides to try. It came out of nowhere and threw me off.

I honestly think this had so much potential, but it was all over the place. Definitely 🌶️ 🌶️ 🌶️ 🌶️ with some kink involved. I wouldn’t use a credit on this though..

Was not what I expected… in a good way

I was expecting a really dark mm romance book. Was not expecting the sweetness or funny banter. Both narrators did an amazing job. Loved this book!

I didn’t like the VAs

This sounded like a bad read at a movie table. It was hard to will myself to finish but I’m honestly glad it’s over.

Michael Dean is AMAZEBALLS!

This book was so witty and pretty spicy! I wish Michael Dean had narrated the whole book! Demon is EVERYTHING!

Enjoyable.

I like this one a lot, good story though somewhat predictable. Saint was a great character, Damon pretty standard, no surprises. Loved that Saint was into MM Romance. Made him human

Best romance ever!

This is my equivalent of ‘Notebook’ with HEA - made me ball my eyes out, first reading and then listening! - great book and wonderful performance! - Love Love

something was missing

At the end of the story I felt something was missing. It started out good but the plot fell away. There could've been more about the kidnapping backstabbing and more about the uncle instead of ur right and I took care of it. The book had more sex scenes then story and there was no balance. I found myself fast forwarding a lot.

Such bratty fun

These two are just too much fun! I really enjoyed the writing. Jesse H. Reign does such a fabulous job. The narrators were great and made the book that much more enjoyable.

Different kind of MM story.

This was an interesting story and way different from the usual romance I read.

I think I would have preferred reading this one to listening though. Tim Paige is one of my favorite narrators and did great but the voice of Michael Dean is not for me. It was strange and I didn’t look forward to the pov of Demon because of it.
The spicy scenes were a little off to me for some reason too but that’s not super important.
