Short, Yet Simple
The only thing that I know about boats is when me and my dad went fishing, but sailing is something that I've never done before. If I were near a large body of water, that probably would change. This was a short, yet simple and informative guide on the topic. It goes into good detail about sailing, the nomenclature of the boat, safety tips, etc. Narration was very good and the audio was well done. Recommended.

Accurate, informative and helpful.
In a simple way, it explains everything you need to know about the acquisition and handling of sailing a boat. Excellent guide if you have in mind to buy a boat or learn to sail one.
It's also excellent audio book to learn new topics in a short time. Recommended.

Informative and fast
This book is a quick overview and was very informative. He goes fast through it though. The only thing I found that didn’t interest me was the short chapter on knots. It’s best to get a book with pictures or even a video. But all the rest of it peaked my curiosity as I’m seriously considering buying a catamaran and shore hopping through the Caribbean. Thanks for the quick info. My wife even sat through it.

A must listen for new sailors
As a newcomer to sailing this book was very informational. Several of the questions I had going into this adventure were answered. Such as what type of boat should I get along with the setup. Highly recommend!!
