Sawyer- After watching his daughter, Kime, stand before the council and receive her punishment, he has called together all of the factions. Even those that many thought to be gone forever. The war against his surrogate son, Hale, is now here. He knows what fate he must deal to Hale. Will he be able to finish the job? Or, will love and his own loyalty to family cause him to forgive?

Hale- is now ready to move on with his Newborn Vampire army that are sired to him with Klare by his side. He knows that it's kill or be killed and he aims to live and protect his queen against any that would threaten her and their lives together. But, there are things coming that even he could not foresee. He has many more enemies than he realized and they are all looking for revenge. Will they have their day or will Hale prevail and take the Vampire covens back from Sawyer?

Noire- is now certain that Klare has more power than should be held by any one being. She needs to find a way to restore the balance as is the job of the witches. To do so, she must tap into a power that was passed down to her when her father died. One that she has been afraid to use. Will she have the heart to work against her cousin, knowing that it will leave Klare vulnerable to her enemies, or will her love and guilt over helping Klare to turn outweigh what she knows in her heart is the right thing to do.

Klare- now knows that she is a Vampire witch. This has never happened before and the power she holds is immense. Still by the side of Hale, she learns to use her new powers just as the final battle looms. She must now face all those she used to lead and those who have become her new enemies. Will she survive or will her powers be too much for her to contain?
