WOW! Hold on to your pants! This is an adventure that you won’t forget. If you like BDSN, mob boss, and a story with heat, this one has it all. Thomas Locklear was a fantastic narrator on this one. His voice will keep you listening to the last word and wanting more.

This book was sooo good. The characters were amazing. The Story was one that keeps you wanting more. The narrator was amazing....I just cant say enough about this book. I Highly suggest this book...You wont regret it!!!

Great listen

This was very intense but I loved every minute of it. The narration was perfect and allowed me to get caught up in the story.

Awesome mafia crime story.

You know that when Piper Stone writes a mafia crime story it will have backstabbing, action, mystery, spankings, explosive love scenes,males that will die protecting their mates, unexpected outccomes, and in this case a hidden secret. All of these create a captivating story.Thomas Locklear is a master storyteller who will immediately capture your attention. I highly recommend this Audible book.

I loved the book. want another one. great story line keep me listening the hole book which is odd for me

I listened to the audio book. The narration wasn't bad. The narrator had a moment of two when he spoke in the female lead's voice when it was Gio speaking. That have me pause, but it wasn't completely distracting.

I don't know the female lead's first name, or I should say that I don't know how to pronounce it. I'll refer to her as Minx. That is the name Gio used.

Gio was a mafia don. Had no expectations of him being gentle or soft or romantic. Minx was just crazy. This woman blew not and cold. She alternated between wanting to hit Gio, and craving him sexually.

I didn't really get if Minx had a secret about her past, or if she blocked out information about her past. I

I think there was a fairly interesting back story about a mile infiltrating Gio's organization, but it was overshadowed by the craziness of Oof and Goofy. I would give this book 2.5 stars.

I was sucked in...

Once this story took off, I was completely drawn in and listened through for hours. Time flew by. If you like dark mafia romance, you’ll like this one. The female lead is strong and smart, a capable foil for the alpha make lead. Great narration moves this story along nicely.

Another Mafia Hit!

Piper Stone can write dark mafia romance!! The characters are great! Again, the ups and downs, wonderful! And Thomas Locklear was wonderful with the different voices and emotions!! If you like this kind of story, then this is for you! A must listen!

Can’t handle female voice(But got over it!)

Uhg I’m bumming right now! I think this book could be exactly what I want but I seriously can’t get over the narrators female voice. The male voice could be deeper too but I could live with it. I’m sure it’s hard for a guy to do a convincing female voice but this is ridiculous. It’s breathy and “fake girly”. Unfortunately it makes everything read kind of silly and vaguely embarrassing, at least for me. Makes me want to cover my face with my hand. I think I’m going to try this book again when I can read it for myself.

You know what? I take it back, I love this book! I waited awhile and gave it another shot. I remember the “girl” voice making my teeth hurt but I guess I got over it! Def worth the credit, I would buy it again! My advice is don’t start this book strait after listening to a good dual narration book. Wait a bit and start fresh. It may take a few min to get used to but once you let yourself get into the story, no problem! Talk about a sexy HOT steamy dominant alpha male story! By a few chapters in I cared very little about the narration 😏😉❗️
