The book of Enoch was thought to be lost for over 2,000 years until, in 1773, a traveller brought three copies back from Ethiopia. Whether or not this ancient book was actually authored by Enoch, the father of Methuselah and great-grandfather of Noah, is an ongoing debate among historians and theologians. But all recognise the book of Enoch as one of the most important apocalyptic works outside of the Bible.

I really enjoyed this lecture series.
This is another great lecture series from Dr. Bill Creasy. He is always incredibly insightful and engaging. He often supplements the material with personal stories which are relevant and interesting. He has taken several trips to Israel and the Middle East where he visits the locations depicted in the Bible and he shares those first hand accounts which enables him to take you back to that point in time that the scripture is talking about.

Sweet love story
After Judges, the story is a nice oasis from the sin and destruction of the Old Testament. There is hope for salvation on the horizon. Dr. Creasy is a great storyteller and always reminds us that Christ is waiting for us at the end of the Old Testament.

Back in the days of the Judges...
A short, sweet book explicated by a man whose love for the story of Ruth is apparent throughout. Dr. Creasy's deep familiarity with the geography, history and culture of the region, and his encyclopedic knowledge of the Bible is paired with fresh characterizations that bring the people to life. Go, Dr. Creasy, go!

Even Through the Ashes Love Blooms ❤️
Got to really enjoy Dr. Creasy tell this little Book of Ruth. As my Spiritual Guidance through years of journey through Scripture ( as he is) we finally discover Bill Creasy is a hopeless romantic, as much as he is a Biblical scholar. ❤️
