Denver Homicide Detective Nick Teffinger has made mistakes before, lots of them, but never as bad as this one. She’s protected herself as much as she could by abandoning her life in Denver and running away, all the way to Paris in fact, where she’s taken an alias identity and settled into an unassuming life.
