About this listen

It was supposed to be a simple kiss. That was all. Whoops.

My plan was perfect: convince my best friend and school quarterback, Ethan, to be the final prize for my matchmaking test where the proceeds go to sending the band to Paris. Plus, if it matches me with my lifelong crush, that's a bonus, right?

What could go wrong?

Apparently, a lot.

First, the test matches me and Ethan. Which is easy to explain. Computers make mistakes all the time, right?

Second, the girl I switch myself for seems perfect for Ethan. Maybe a bit too perfect.

Third, my date with my crush goes horribly wrong, and my first kiss tanks.

Now, I'm pretty sure I'm destined to be alone while Ethan rides off into the sunset with his perfect match.

Man, I've screwed up bad - especially when I ask Ethan the secrets to a good kiss.

Big mistake.

Feelings start to change, and I'm pretty sure that our friendship isn't going to be enough anymore. Too bad I seem to be the only one in our duo who seems to feel this way.

Falling in love with best friend story

Another great addition to the this series. More predictable and all kinds of teenage drama, but cute and sweet. I liked that there was growth in the character before she got the boy. He was adorable.

Best Friends Should Definitely Kiss

This was my favorite in the series so far. Makes you smile. Those of us older gals reading this can reminisce on teen years. Nice change of pace to my typical reads.

figuring out your are already in love

Olivia and Ethan are best friends but he wants more. If only Olivia could see that!!!!! The author did a great job of telling a great story and giving the reader a happy ending but not rushing the story line. The next to last scene made me giddy and was so very romantic as well as a little funny. Recommend even if you are a young adult/teen. I liked that the narrator sounded like a teenager and she did a great job of switching voices.

Confessed love at last

Great story! Fall in love with the characters. You’ll want to scream when she keeps making stupid decisions and won’t realize her love is right in front of her. Author does a great job at bringing the characters to life and subtly producing a reader that sheds a few tears.

Main Character too cringy

The main girl is too clueless for me. Nobody misses that many signs. She is also very selfish. The narrator did very well.

Wonderful story and timeless romance!

This was a great story which kept me listening during my daily drives to work. It definitely reminded me of my high school years, with relatable characters played by a wonderful voice actress. I can’t wait to listen to more books by Anne-Marie Meyer :D

Cute story :)

I loved the character interactions and it was beautiful learning of their close knit friendship with each other. Aside from some few moments filled with frustrations at Olivia for her reckless actions, it was amazing and I loved every bit of the story that played out. Got really sappy towards the end but hey, it was great. Ethan’s a great guy and there were moments I couldn’t keep reading on because of my growing frustration with our main character, Olivia. Not that it’s exactly a bad thing, if you’re able to make me feel so intensely about a character or moment in the book, then you’re doing your job RIGHT. Bravo, it was a well crafted story
