Once again, good storyline. More to the story in this one in the series. Looking forward to listening to more in the series.

Fun but could be better

I enjoyed the story overall, but it really could have been longer. The romance needed a bit more time to develop. I enjoy the world building, and I'm intrigued to know more, but it's kind of hard to blow a credit on such short books.
I love that this has duet style narration, so the male narrator does all of the male voices, and the female narrator voices all of the female characters. I like both narrators quite a bit and I think they work well together.

Great read

Fast and fantastic read. I finished this quick and I want more of this world the author created. Definitely recommend and worth it. A great adventure and hot romance included.

Want more!

Great job! Brooke and Koran's story has paved the way for a good mystery, as well as being a great romance. I enjoyed the mix of a forbidden steamy romance, new friends and traitorous aliens. I will most definitely be getting the rest of the series.
Disappointed the next two titles are not available in Audible!

UPDATE: I finished the series and thought I would post an update on this first book for those starting out. Here is what I thought:

Book 1 - Tana Stone - Exceeded Expectations
Book 2 - Hope Hart - Below Expectations
Book 3 - Miranda Bridges - Met Expectations
Book 4 - Kyra Snow - WTF NO

Would recommend Books 1 & 3 for sure. Rest are at your discretion.

I put this series off because each book has a separate author and narrators, but I was pleasantly surprised with first book when I finally decided to give it a go.

Story is simple but still engaging. It is a short book and is cheaper to buy than to spend credits on so keep that in mind if you are considering it. It would be nice for Audible just to make this a single set purchase/credit, but they are still fairly cheap quick hit books regardless.

Loved the narrators and honestly can't go too wrong with Tana Stone books so if you are on the fence and need a quickie this is a good choice.

Escape the mundane with this book. enjoyable listen, worth the your time and credit. Hoping for more as soon as possible

Good start

A good start to a new series. The reason for 4 stars is because it is similar storyline like other books in the genre, as you will discover. I am a fan of this genre and will continue to listen as long as narration is good, as is the narrators of this book.

Fun, storyline, excellent narration

As I said above, the storyline was really fun, a good idea and narration can make or break a book I think it was very good here. I was a little concerned when there was a little music at the beginning, but they did not play it anywhere else until the book was over. Sorry for the lack of punctuation. I use voice to text. I think you will definitely enjoy this book if this is your genre, so far there are four books. And I have them all. I just didn’t review them on the first listen but definitely doing that now as I’m re-listening.
