About this listen

Willow Denton needs to get out of town fast. Her only option is joining her brother's band on tour. Two months with misbehaving men doesn't sound so bad. Until she walks in on the drummer naked and sporting a spanking new piercing right between his legs. There's no way the cocky player will ever think of her as more than his friend or, worse, his BFF's little sister. Better to focus on her photography. As soon as she stops thinking about him in her bed, against the wall, in the backseat of his car....

Sinful Serenade drummer Tom Steele is a wrecking ball. Bossy. Pushy. Hot as the molten center of the Earth. He's not afraid to use his body or his fame to get what he wants - a different girl every night of the week (and three on Sunday). The man may be a slut, but he can control himself. He's going to keep an eye on Willow. That's it. He's not about to throw away their budding friendship, or his relationship with her overprotective brother, for a good time.

Their sizzling sexual chemistry makes this whole platonic thing hard. But there's no way he'll cross the line with the girl he's supposed to protect.

Almost as good as book 2!

Only thing I didn’t like was that his nickname for her was “kid” ... that was a little creepy/weird /off putting ... otherwise good! I will continue with the series!

That's a memorable beginning...

What was one of the most memorable moments of Rock Your Heart Out?

The book opens up with Willow walking into her brother Drew's hotel room, only it's not Drew that she finds... It's his band member Tom, and he's completely naked. Not only that he thinks that she is someone else, so he sexually propositions her. He has just gotten his penis pierced and can't do anything for himself, but he will gladly help her. It's hilarious. Then he finds out that she is really his band mates little sister, so she is strictly off-limits, and he promptly covers up.

Which scene was your favorite?

My favorite scene comes the night that Tom is finally able to have sex after a 3 week ban because of his new piercing and everyone takes bets on how long he will last.

Any additional comments?

This was an entertaining listen. It's the third book in the Sinful Serenade series, but it can be listened to on its own. It follows Willow and Tom, and is told from Willow's POV. Willow ends up joining the Sinful Serenade tour as their photographer's assistant, a job that Tom helps her get, and Tom takes her under his wing.

I loved the banter between the two leads. Tom is very open and Willow is more than willing to offer her opinion on his manwhore ways. Willow is very attracted to Tom, but Tom has put her in the off-limits zone, which frustrates her in more ways than one. It doesn't help that her that he's all over the place with mixed signals, one minute he seems to want more then he's right back to no-go. I did enjoy the sexual tension though, and this book has it in spades.

The sex scenes (when we get there) are hot. I like the sneaking around element, it always adds to the tension. And the ending is very sweet. I would recommend this book.

Really loved it! Very hot.

I only wish I would have started with book one in the series. I also wish the last two were available for n the romance subscription. How do you get to be a reviewer who rates the hotness of titles cuz sometimes they really miss the mark and sometimes they are spot on.

Worth a listen while driving

I typically like books by Crystal Kaswell, but this book was average. I would have liked more of a plot and a stronger heroine. Most of this book focused on the heroine worrying about falling in love with the hero and then whether the hero loved her back. There wasn't much relationship development between the sex scenes. I typically enjoy the banter in Kaswell novels, but this heroine was just very plain. I feel like the plot elements that would have made her interesting were ignored.
