A valuable learning tool...set!
I found this fascinatingly worthwhile, and admired how thorough and painstaking Sam Connelly is here. He gives his listeners a complete guidebook about the two kinds of rock climbing without boring us. My favorite moment was when he provided a lexicon of climbing terms, and we came to "barn door," which is when the climber looses purchase on the wall face and perilously swings away from it like a door. The thought that this is common enough to merit a term gave me even more respect for the climbers everywhere.

Ain't No Mountain High Enough...
Yes, that's right...ain't no mountain high enough to keep any passionate rock climbing enthusiasts from achieving their goals. This easy to follow, step by step rock climbing audiobook is a great training manual for beginners who want to climb right into alpine style and expedition style rock climbing, make it a hobby, and become truly successful at it. I highly recommend this audiobook.

Great Intro to the mountaineering
Always found it fascinating, especially after watching those exhilarating documentaries on Youtube. Never had the nerve to even think about it, until I read this book. It's overwhelming at first, but it helps break everything down great. Goes over everything about mountaineering, including the safety aspect, which helped to reassure me a bit.

Best For Adventure Lovers!
It is an amazing book for beginners who love to go for adventures like to climb the mountain but never done it due to scary thoughts. It is guideline for those all people and in it all the effective ways are mentioned through which they can reach to their destinations easily.

Good book for people getting into rock climbing
I have so many people in my life who are trying to get me into rock climbing as a way to keep myself active and healthy. I am a regular gym goer and some days pumping iron is not something I want to do. I want something more fun and dynamic; hence, my friends recommended rock climbing would be a fun social workout for me. I like that this book helps me introduce rock climbing to a beginner like me. It talks about terminology, climbing techniques, and safety precautions climbers have to take. The book is easy to digest and understand.
