What did you like best about River City? What did you like least?
I liked the plot and the characters. I felt the narrative, which uses many voices, sounded too much like a poorly produced radio play. Especially the female characters were jarring in some places. When I listen to a book, I want to listen to a book, not to a play. Just a personal preference.What other book might you compare River City to and why?
